it should have been done, correctly, at the very beginning. The outside appears similar to the remainder of buildings within the compound, built of matched lumber and i expect oiled or creosoted to prevent rapid deterioration, long, low built with numerous chimneys poking its way through a tar papered roof. Due to atmosphere no windows are presented and the box office is “quite right.”

interior decorations are quite plain except for the stage which has been done exceptionally well considering the materials on hand to be used. The curtains, props and lighting are nearly exactly as in any theatre which might go to represent the amount of talent and professions represented in camp. An orchestra pit immediately in front of the stage also tends to bring us back to reality.
