We are frequently crossing each others trails. it is only a case of cabin fever where a few men are bound closely together over a period of time. it has happened to me before so i know what it is like. Personally i don’t think there is a better bunch of fellows to live with and i consider myself lucky indeed to have them as companions through the days ahead.

Matches are one of the common commodities of normal life which are very scarce here. Therefore whenever a person sees another with a lighted cigarette he immediately digs how own out and with the pass word “light please” drags until his own is going. it is not uncommon to be stopped dozen times the length of our hall.
