Today - Nov. 15 - it has been squalling snow. For the most part it has been more or less like rain, melting as soon as it strikes the ground, but it is quite welcome for it seems to have brought to an end a recent cold snap.

Stooging is a chore which i have often grouched about on “civvy street” both when at school and at home. However, it has become quite a delightful task to look forward too under these circumstances. Not only does time fly while going about ones duties but by the time of sack interlude one is quite tired out. The actual work isn’t at all difficult for it consists mostly of washing dishes and sweeping the floor but as it is far more strenuous than reading, the principal of the intervening days, that it takes little to tire one.
