Married Mary on 31 March 1869, by W.H. Alden, Portsmouth, New Hampshire; he was 72, mariner, born in Kittery, son of William & Susan; she 62 (daughter of Samuel & Deborah) ^{[Source 36: New Hampshire Marriage Records]}. She was a widow. Both are buried in Kittery, Maine.
He was almost 83 when he died.
