One William enlisted under Nathaniel Rand in Rye, along with a John TREFETHEN Jr., on 04 March 1776. That was probably this William (John TREFETHEN0208 was possibly his uncle).
A William signed a Military Grievance on 09 February 1785: the men were tired of being switched from regiment to regiment.
A William signed a petition on 20 January 1784, Rye, to keep ‘Jenness’ as Justice of the Peace.

All his children were born in Rye.

Was apparently a farmer, as his son John took over the farm at some point and then passed it on to his own son.
Billy TREFETHEN0285 (before 1784 - after 1782) baptized June 1783, Rye, New Hampshire. NOTE: He only shows up in one church record when #7 (William) had him baptized. This could have been William (#6).
