Biography:
"Edward "Eddie" TREFETHEN (1065) was my husband's grandfather. He was known to have been a pretty good guy, but died kind of young. He was out collecting wild honey in the Illinois Valley, Oregon and apparently tripped or slipped and fell, the heavy pail full of honey landing on him and injuring him somehow in the torso. He was alive and they got him home, but when the doctor pushed on his chest to examine, Eddie just died, just like that. His wife, Millie Mae, lived for a long time and suffered terribly with arthritis. She lived in Kerby, Oregon just about all the rest of her life.
By the way, the cemetary that is referred to as being in Kerby is now called "Laurel Cemetery" and is part of Cave Junction, Oregon. Several TREFETHENs are buried there.
Now- Eddie had four children, Charles Augustus (1067), Georgia L. (1066), Harold (1068), and Clint (1069)....
