Biography:

Kristen TREFETHEN wrote (1998)
"Charlie was my husband's father. He lived and worked in Cave Junction, Takilma, and O'brien Oregon for most of his life. He owned a butcher shop in Cave Junction for many years and was known for his charm, humor, and scrappiness. He died of a combination of old age and kidney failure due to damage from diuretics taken for an earlier heart condition (Logger’s heart ?)."
Kristen TREFETHEN¹¹⁸⁹⁷ also wrote: "His son, my husband, is named Larry Edward TREFETHEN¹⁶⁴⁰. . He has lived in Oregon all of his life, and like his Great-grandfather Charles Augustus, is an accomplished horseman. By the way, take note that there were two Charles Augustus, my husband's father and great-grandfather. My husband has two natural daughters,

- Christine TREFETHEN Da Vault¹⁶⁴² (sorry, I will get missing info to you soon.
- Gregory Lee TREFETHEN¹⁶⁴³ adopted in Larry's second marriage
- Perry TREFETHEN¹⁶⁴⁴ adopted in Larry's second marriage. Perry has been known lately to be going by his original name, “Lemus”.
