So i sat me down on a big brown log. sheltered with spreading beech And listened thru a wondering fog to a very enlightening speach [sic].

Once upon a time, down in a glorious bot, When the garden of eve was new, A shiny, green and black old frog Romantic and frivolous grew.

He jumped & splashed & croaked all day Making love towards madam lizard, when all at once as they were at play He felt a pain in his gizzard.

This pain of his was nothing but love Love for a homely reptile But love it was, just as with a dove And he took her to his domicile.

There they built a little home At peach with all the world Settled down never more to roam A flag of love unfurled.
