Biography:

Born in Coventry (now Benton), New Hampshire
Moved with parents to Vermont sometime between 1824 & 1830; they are found on South Hero, Grande Island County, Vermont in the 1830 Census
Married Sarah on 06 September 1862 in Stratham, New Hampshire. He was from Clinton, New York, a Blacksmith; and she from Berwick, Maine, an operator. Sarah was the widow of Charles Ramsdell and mother of 4 Ramsdell children. She was daughter of Moses & Jane Wentworth and was 30 when wed (2nd marriage for both); died in August 1865 at Raymond, New Hampshire. ^{Source 36}
Mary Ann Fairbanks was aged 27 when wed. Her 2nd marriage, his third. She was daughter of Timothy S. Ford. They were married on 11 October 1868, in Hudson, New Hampshire, her home town- he was residing in Manchester at the time. He divorced her on 06 September 1872 because of 'Abandonment.'
Married Annie M. on 27 November 1872 in Nashua, New Hampshire. (she was 28 & both resided there). She divorced him on 14 May 1879 because of 'Extreme Cruelty.^{New Hampshire Divorce Records.; Source 36:Hillsborough County. Superior Court Records.}
