His widow was living at 54 Pleasant St., Portsmouth, in 1851 (from a Directory)
A long, detailed inventory of his estate taken on Aug. 20, 1830 lists:
a mansion house & lands with outbuildings on Pleasant St.- $1800.,
house, land & warf on Water St. adjacent to Liberty Bridge- $666.,
northern half of the TREFETHEN Fields on South Rd.- $420.,
much more.
Also:
1/16th of Drisco's Warf,
1/5th house & land of estate of Samuel Trefethen0821 (his brother);
1/4th part of land held in common with Elizabeth (his wife); ...
A William & a James TREFETHEN are listed among ‘Naval Personnel on the Portsmouth Station’, both serving from 28 March 1814 to 20 March 1815. This appears to be William0823 & his brother [Source 88]
One William Trefethen was Captain of the schooner ‘INDUSTRY’ of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, arriving from Cape Francis in Philadelphia on 08 July 1793; also Master of the Schooner ‘PINK’ which arrived in New York on 30 June 1820. (Most likely this one)
