Biography:

Born in Farmington, New Hampshire?
Wife died during 1823, leaving him with 6 small mouths to feed. He asked for assistance from the Town of Wakefield in 1823 to 1824. The children were eventually raised by relatives. (NOTE: Wakefield's early records burned in the late 1800's, so information there is sparse)
Worked at Shannon Mills in Moultonboro, and when he heard they needed a miller he contacted his father who got the job. James (the Dad) ran the Grist mill while George ran the lumber mill
A supporter of the 1st Freewill Baptist Church
He died in Moultonboro, New Hampshire or Salem, Massachusetts
Married on 31 October 1811 in New Durham, New Hampshire
