Was living with his grandfather Nathaniel in 1850 - his father had died shortly after he was born.
Married Lizzie on 24 December 1878 in Salisbury, Massachusetts; 1st marriage for both.

Resided in Salisbury, Massachusetts
Liz: Resided in South Hampton when wed; daughter of John C. & Mary W. [Source 36: Massachusetts Marriage Records]
Married Mary on 31 July 1884, in Exeter, New Hampshire; his age was 46, resided in Amesbury, Massachusetts; his 2nd marriage. Mary was 40, a housekeeper, born in Hampton, New Hampshire; daughter of Moses & Sarah. Both 2nd marriages. [Source 36: Massachusetts Marriage Records]
