There is MUCH confusion between this Frederick A. and Frederick Alonzo TREFETHEN0097 who lived in Lynn, Massachusetts
Adding to the confusion... the 1900 Lynn Massachusetts Census shows Fred (born in February 1835 {which is close to Fred TREFETHEN 0097}, a dealer in Engineer Supplies, owning the home at 58 Union St., Lynn, Massachusetts; living with Frank L. (Which could be Frank H. TREFETHEN0828) born in May 1860, also selling Engineer supplies, and Franks wife Florence M. (born in December 1860, mother of 3 kids, 2 living); Fred's sons Ernest M. TREFETHEN1092 (born in December 1881, a student) and Harry L. TREFETHEN1093 (born November 1895).
