He is noted as having been paid 0-2-6 'for the Bord of Mathes child' on 03 January 1787 [S36:LDS Film 15241- Newcastle Town Accounts]
Was living in Coxhall Town (York or Washington Co.), Maine in 1800 with a household consisting of 2 males under age 10, one male aged 26 - 45, 3 males (including himself?) over 45, and one female (wife?) aged 26 - 45 [Census]
