Born in Kittery, Maine
Owned several vessels
NOTE: There’s a slight problem with his records. He’s listed as a shipbuilder in 1861 and as a Sailor in the 1900 Soundex. But records indicate he died in 1860
(Source 64 found Martha's maiden name in Kittery Births & Deaths, late 1600s - 1891; pg. 62)
Resided in Kittery
Filed intent to wed on 22 October 1832 in Kittery, and was married there on 24 November 1832 by Joshua T. Chase, J.P. [Old Dover New Hampshire Newspaper + Source 133]
Was Master of the vessel 'Alice TARLETON' which arrived in Boston on 29 November 1847
Was the Commander of the ship 'PORTSMOUTH' when he died at age 52 in New York [Source 36: Dover New Hampshire Newspaper Extracts]
