Biography:

Born in Maine ^{[Portsmouth New Hampshire 1850 Census]}
A Civil War Veteran, residing in Eliot, Maine. He was a Corporal in Company E ^{[Source Nick Picemo]}. He enlisted on 04 October 1861 in Portland and discharged on 08 May 1863
Married on 03 July 1867 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire; son of John & Lydia
Wife was born in July 1848, Maine; she was the daughter of Elisha (an Eliot farmer) & Sarah. She was 20. 1st marriage for both.^{[Source 36: New Hampshire Marriage Records]}
A Tinsmith in 1870
He died in Weare, New Hampshire of Apoplexy
Buried on February 9th in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Section B Lot 34^{[Source 36: Maine Veterans’ Cemetery Records at Salt Lake City]}
Wife died in 1920
