Was a mate on the ship 'BRUTUS' of New York on a trip to St. Petersburg. He was 'b. New Hampshire, age 27, 5' 8 in. tall.' Dated 09 April 1807 [Source 129]
In his will he states he is 'weak in body' and leaves 'all the whole of my estate' to his wife. To his son Abraham TREFETHEN0854 all his estate after the decease of Abigail. Dated 31 August 1811 and proved 16 October 1811. [Source 129]
An inventory of his estate included a 'mansion house', barn, and land; a lot of land in the 'field'; and a 1/3 interest in the Schooner 'Tracy' [Source 129] (Source 36: LDS film 16202, pg. 364 has '1/3 of the Schooner Peace). Total: $2561.83
