He died on 19 May 1864 at the age of 75^{[Source 137: John Locke Place Cemetery, Newcastle]}
Filed intent to wed Miriam (about 1793 - 18 February 1826) on 16 October 1812 and did so in April of 1813 in Kittery by Min. Wm. Briggs. He was from Kittery, she from Monhegan Island, Portland, Maine^{[Source 133]}. She was born about 1792, died 18 February 1826, aged 33^{[Source 137: as above]}
He Married Mary (about 1890 - 07 October 1862 [S95] &^{[Source 137 as above]} ) on 02 March 1827 in Portsmouth^{[Source 95+ Dover Gazette]} or New Castle^{[Source 36]}. She was the daughter. of Robert & Mehitable (both born in New Castle), and died at age 72 of 'Liver Complaint'^{[Source 36: New Hampshire Death Recrods in Concord]}
Resided in New Castle, New Hampshire; a Sailor; born in New Hampshire [1850 Newcastle Census]('The Sterling Genealogy by Albert M. Sterling, Grafton Press, calls him 'a native of Monhegan', but I don’t believe he ever lived there.
