Biography:

Born in Maine;
Moved to California at age 17.
Worked for concrete companies, then started 'Statewide Concrete.' Now is referred to as an 'Earth Mover', taking on the task of removing unwanted hills.
Came close to death when his hand got caught in a conveyor-belt pulley. He broke several bones, but was back on the job in a few days. [THE PRESS DEMOCRAT, Santa Rosa, CA; 03 January 1988].
