"Know all men by this presents that we Eliza TREFETHEN wid. of Abraham TREFETHEN dec'd, and Alfred TREFETHEN - Abraham TREFETHEN sons of the deceased & Abigail TREFETHEN & Elis TREFETHEN daughters of the deceased- in New Castle For and in Consideration of the sum of ninty dollars to us in hand paid before the delivery hereof Well & truly paid by Nathan W. Tarlton of New Castle Warrant Nathan W. Tarlton and hid heirs and assigns forever a certain lot of land situated in said New Castle and bounded as follows:

Beginning at the southeast corner of Leo Vennards land on the main road leading to Fort Constitution thence runnning Northly 120 ft. on said land more or less. Striking land of Washington Prescotts heirs thence running eastly 85 ft. more or less on said land to a point of ledge - thence southly 177 ft. to the main road striking the south west cor. of land of Capt. Zach Verquard (?) thence running westly 55 ft. to the first mentioned bound-
