He, with Clara & son Andrew (aged 10 mo.) arrived in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on 30 September 1848 on the passenger vessel 'ESSIQUILO'. No indication as to where they arrived from. All were U.S. Citizens. [National Archives]
Probably died in the shipwreck of THE BALERMA, 03 October 1851
Wife (born in 1818) was residing at 8 Duncan St., Haverhill, Massachusetts in 1880 with 2 daughters. [1880 census]. She was living with daughter. Emma in Lynn, Massachusetts about 1900 [Soundex]
