A person by the name of Charles resided in Lowell, Massachesetts in 1864. A merchant; he enlisted & was mustered on 02 January 1864. Discharged on 09 August 1865. A Private. Probably this Charles. (MA CIVIL WAR RECORDS)
Wife was born on 24 September 1823 and lived until 21 April 1901.
He & wife are buried at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Dover, New Hampshire

Dover NH, resided in Manchester New Hampshire, a merchant, son of Charles & Elizabeth. She was 22, born in Boston Massachusetts, daughter of Henry W. & Clara L. [S36:NH MAR RECS.]. An unnamed son was born to Charles & Elizabeth on 14 March 1852 in Dover. It was probably this Charles.
Ruth E TREFETHEN1451 (before 1865 - after 1878) Married Edward B. WOODBURY on 22 October 1879 in Manchester, New Hampshire. She, her husband & her parents were all from there (daughter of Charles & Martha E.) [S36: NH BRIDE'S INDEX]
