Born in Elliot, Maine. The dates above are from his son George's wife's family notebook. Some
records indicate he was born 26 August 1825[s137]
Permelia was born in Lee, New Hampshire[Her maiden name found by S70]. NOTE: We have her name as "Parmillia" but a descendant (named "Permelia") set us straight! Permelia also states "I know that she (P. Langley) was the daughter of Thomas Langley and Permelia Jones."
Was living in Dover, New Hampshire in 1850[Census] and was still there in 1865 when dtr. Mary was born. Was in Amesbury, Massachusetts in 1874 when the same dtr. died[S36:Massachusetts DEATH RECS]
He died in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Thanks to S36's finding his sons' marriage record. This one was a real mystery!

The newest material is from enthusiasts who just LOVE to poke around old graveyards and musky libraries and are shown on the Sources page.
You can speak with these enthusiasts on FaceBook.
Look up the group "TREFETHEN".
The older sources are sometimes "iffy" because when I started this project
I didn't realize it's magnetude and thus neglected to keep good records
We'll call this site a "Starting Point" and it's up to you to verify our findings.
