Married on 05 October 1843 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
He resided in Somersworth & she resided in Portsmouth when wed ^{[Source 36: New Hampshire Marriage Records]}
One Source says Martha died 15 July 1848. Source 36 says she married her second husband George W. Sherburne on 25 December 1851 in Boston. She was 32, born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire; her 2nd marrriage; he 46, 2nd marriage, a Stable keeper, born Concord, New Hampshire; son of Joseph.^{[Source 36: Massachusetts Marriage Records]}.
Daughter Annie was born in Great Falls, New Hampshire;
so they probably resided there about 1844. ^{[Massachusetts SOUNDEX]}
