Resided: Wareham, Massachusetts; moved to Kittery, Maine after retiring.
A Plumber & avid bird hunter.
Served in World War I.
Round and short of frame with a wide smile, thin when young. Was a 'Teetotaler'.
Loved life, his wife, armchair sports and his cocker spaniels.
His wife died only months after he did - this family is VERY close!
She was born in 1891, Brockton, Massachusetts, daughter of Charles Albert Jackson Churchill (born 1863) & Annie G. Morse (1864 - 1894). She had a brother, Chester "Chet", whom (if memory serves me correctly) was a Police Chief. Chet was VERY TALL, which ran in the family as Mabel was tall and her father (affectionately called "Pop") had to literally duck to go through doors. Chet married Viola Jadis ("great aunt Vi" to me) whom all I recall about had a glass eye (remember - I was just a kid). Chet & Vi had a son & daughter - William & Rebecca. Unfortunately both died without children so that branch of the Churchills is no more.

The newest material is from enthusiasts who just LOVE to poke around old graveyards and musky libraries and are shown on the Sources page.

Look up the group "TREFETHEN".
The older sources are sometimes "iffy" because when I started this project
I didn't realize it's magnetude and thus neglected to keep good records
We'll call this site a "Starting Point" and it's up to you to verify our findings.
(Most of it WILL check out- PROMISE!)
